I was wondering if you could email me about the 35mm conversion you did on your Brownie.

Thanks,
Tony

I've done two mods on the bhf--i flipped the lens and then i ran 35mm through it. the lens flip was the bigger project, the trick with the 35mm is making sure that the back of the camera still fit and locks without cracking the bakelite.

Here are a couple images from flickr that depict and describe each of these mods.

This is what I used for the lens flip:

and here is an image depicting the 35mm mod.

i do not use rubber bands though--i just cut the leader and tape that to the 620 take-up spool. and i don't find any need to brace the supply side/cartridge. it normally stays in place once the leader has been taped and the back is placed on. to be on the safe side, you could cut up chunks of foam rollers and place them on either side of the 35mm cartridge though. this is the same mod i used for the holga 35mm. you can buy adapter kits for either camera but the mod is simple and cheap enough to do yourself.

I realized I posted this under the wrong post LOL but thank you for the info! Now I know I do not need to waste 15 bucks on one of those eBay kits. THANKS!!
